Front Cover

Design of Trainwreck album cover. Trainwreck is the recent release of the Postpunk group "FORGEDFREQSYNDICATE". Each side of the cover has its unique colors and photographs. While the front side of the album symbolizes the day shift in the work life, the back side of the album symbolizes the night shift. The track names are inspired by similar contents.

Canon Ad Campaign

First subject: Girlfriend out of town

In this project, I worked as art director, copywriter, and graphic designer to develop a marketing strategy that bridges Canon's established reputation with the evolving preferences of young adults and Gen Z. Recognizing the influence of internet culture and urban legends, I created a campaign centered around the iconic phrase "Pics or It Didn't Happen." This slogan taps into the humor and skepticism of the digital age, referencing the urban legend of "girlfriends from another city, school, or country." Through cohesive visuals and compelling copy, the campaign aims to resonate with a younger audience, encouraging them to capture and share their moments with Canon cameras, proving that their experiences are as real as the legends they hear about.

Third ad campaign. A UFO on the head of a person.

Canon has been making great cameras for decades. Nowadays Fuji and Sony are becoming serious rivals to Canon, but still Canon holds nearly half of the camera market. Canon needs to find ways to connect with new young adults and Gen Z to grow. So what is my idea to better their marketing strategy? Putting Internet culture and urban legends together. The first urban legend is girlfriends from another city, school, country... You name it. Well, I used “Pics or It Didn't Happen” as a slogan in all of the posters.

Bark & Bounce is a new app for pet owners in Toronto, Ontario, looking for services such as dog walking and dog boarding.

Genie In the Lamb is a modern tavern that specializes on Levant & Balkan Cuisine. Unlike many modern pubs and bars, the Genie In the Lamb serves a different kind of entertainment. Instead of a mainstream pub-like atmoshpere, Genie In the Lamb offers their guests cozy balkan musics with live performances.

Ad Campaign Keytar Illustration

A mock-up of the advertisement on the grey wall.

Keytars have a deeper meaning. Every keytar looks like a machine rifle. Many musicians from the past have used the keytar as a symbol of masculinty and war. For this ad campaign, I wanted to create a fake war propaganda poster because the instrument's design creates irony with the context. So I inspired from WW1 & WW2 propaganda posters. Then mixed up with punk.

The keytar illustration was created using Adobe Illustrator. I used the mesh tool to create most of the parts of the keytar. With the plastic wrap effect, I added some texture. The button texts were placed upside down to make it easier for the keytarist to read, just like a real keytar.

Wired Magazine Editorial Work

Main page and 2 opened pages can be seen from 2 different magazines.

I wanted to create a cover that fits this topic perfectly. I thought of mixing the infamous Pepe the Frog character and an actual person to create a contrast.

Different pages from the magazine opened on the magazines. 7 magazines are opened on the surface.

For the rest of the pages, I played with lines and broke some grid rules to bring attention to my work. I used blue and light orange as background colours, I think they compliment each other and they are soft colours that I can play with more freely.

Illustrations for the "Navigate Any Terrain" article. Terrains and mountains are used as the basis for the illustration. Little cartoon figures are used to illustrate and add depth to the terrain.

Mantis Energy Drink

Mantis is considered a lucky insect in many cultures. They are pretty rare to find in the wild. While creating this branding, I wanted to make it as unique as possible. I chose the mantis as my brand mascot. It is green, and has a interesting shape which makes it an eye catching figure. For the phrase of this branding I chose `Feel The Surge`. It fits the concept of an energy drink brand, and a unique animal such as the mantis gives this brand a more energized look.

Here you can find the design image of the can. For this taste, I used pink and purple colors to produce a tropic atmoshpere.

Fitness Centre Magazine

For this project, I created a simple yet elegant design. While the cover page consist of a muscular man and the logo, the following pages catch the eyes of the reader with bright red rectangles, data charts and images. For the header texts I used Agency FB as a font, for the body font I used Myriad Pro to create a simple and easy to read text.

Magazine Pages

Red boxes were key elements of this design. The colour red makes you feel more energetic and ready to start new projects, so I used them in the background regularly as a design element.
